Jay Kahl

Biography

Jay Kahl is assistant vice provost of assessment and academic excellence at Augustana University. Since joining higher education approximately 18 years ago, Jay has served in a number of roles related to assessment of student learning, accreditation, compliance and policy, institutional research, program development, and faculty development. When available, he also teaches a survey course for first-year students and travel away sections in Europe. He now serves in the Provost’s Office at Augustana overseeing institutional accreditation, compliance, assessment, and program development/review.
